This SME Facebook group is for selling magic and related arts items in an auction format using Facebook live to hold your own live auction. The auctions will run like any live auction you would attend.
We want the auctions to be fun and beneficial to both buyers and sellers. Our rules are similar to our other SME Groups and expect members of this group to abide by the rules and enjoy the new SME party.

- ITEMS NOT PERMITTED TO BE SOLD
Items not allowed to be auctioned/sold: guns, ammo, explosives, live animals or any item that violates Facebook policy. - BUYERS
As a buyer, your winning bid, accepted offer, or typing sold in the comments means you have purchased the item. If you do not promptly pay for your items you will be removed from the group. PayPal is the method of payment so you must have an active PayPal account to bid. - BIDDING DELAYS
Keep in mind there is a lag time or delay, so once the seller drops the hammer to close bidding, he/she will have to wait about 30 seconds to make sure no bids have come in because of the delay. - INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS
If a buyer is international , they must confirm the seller will ship internationally prior to buying. If a seller will not ship internationally it must be in their sale description. - BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT SELLER
Buyers are responsible for contacting the seller if you purchase an item. Please send the seller your PayPal email address immediately after you win an item. If sellers have to chase you, we will remove you from the group. - AUCTION SETTLEMENT
Sellers should invoice by PayPal within 48 hours of the end of their sale. Buyers must pay within 48 hours of receipt of invoice. Sellers must ship within 3 business days of payment. - SELLERS
We do not allow sellers to sell items on commission unless they are licensed to do so. We advise all sellers to know their state laws regarding auctions and reselling. We are not responsible for sellers sale format, taxes, or applicable state fees. - AUCTION BID INCREMENTS
All auctions should use the following recommended bid increments:
$1 up to $10
$2 up to $50
$5 up to $100
$10 over $100. - ENJOY THE PARTY BUT BE RESPECTFUL
Please conduct yourselves as adults. Rude or judgmental comments are cause for removal from the group. Buyers and sellers alike should honor their word and complete the transaction. If there is an issue with a seller or buyer, message an admin or moderator. Do not post on the group or in the comments section.

Actions Our Moderators May Take
General Polite Warning- A public or private message asking a member to consider their actions.
Mute Member – Rude behavior may result in member being muted for 12 hours or as many as 7 days.
Freeze a Post - This can be a temporary or permanent freeze on any posts that jumps off track.
Final Warning - Sent as a private message. Please read carefully and follow instructions.
Banned / Blocked - Failing basic social expectations we will show you the door.
- Message SME Magic Auction to schedule a date and time spot. Please do not advertise for an event until you confirm you are on the schedule.
- All scheduled times are Eastern time.
- Two-hour Auctions with SME Advertising cost $50.
Additional time is available for $25 per hour. - Sellers are required to put up an event with pictures and a preview post minimum of 24 hours prior to their sale, preferably a week prior to the auction.
- The Auction Schedule is located in the announcements tab.
- It is the sellers responsibility to confirm that you are on the schedule once you've booked
